This was our first experience spending a winter in Arizona. Our time here made for some wonderful times with friends, time hiking in beautiful Sedona, and sight-seeing all of the local monuments including Tuzigoot, Walnut Canyon, and Montezuma Castle.

Aubrey, Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas. We enjoyed the time we had with family and friends. The longhorns are majestic in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Motorcycling in Dallas was less inviting so we saved our fuel and energy for Fredericksburg!

Badlands, South Dakota

We parked our Grand Design Momentum 31G out on “The Edge” of the Badlands for 6 nights. This was some of the best boon docking we have experienced. The evenings were quiet, the morning walks peaceful, and the motorcycle rides through the National Park were some of our best days… so far!

Devils Tower, Wyoming

Devils Tower is a must stop if you are in the area of this National Park. Be sure and use the KOA or the NP Campground as they both sit at the base of the tower and so worth the effort. We stayed in Pine Haven and had to travel to get to the park.

Our travels take us to Salt Lake City to have the BMW f700GS serviced. A remarkable city for hiking, motorcycling in the mountains, and seeing buffalo at Buffalo Point on Antelope Island. Be sure and visit Park City and the surrounding ski areas.
