We sold our home, moved in to a 40 foot RV, and began our travel around the U.S. Two people living in a “40 foot tube” is not always easy. This is the “A to Z” of RV Living. Travel starting from Ellsworth, Maine all the way to Southern Oregon. We had an “event” that caused a detour to Elkhart, Indiana after getting “struck by lightning.” Once repaired we made our way back onto the previous travel plan. We used several previous RV Campgrounds as well as a few Harvest Hosts, boondocking in Wall, South Dakota, and our favorite: Pictured Rocks KOA in Munising, Michigan.

Route 66 is a challenge. It is especially challenging when trying to ride the entire path using adventure motorcycles. This is our path as we navigated difficult terrain, winds, truck damage and repairs, and finally making our final destination of Chicago.
