The Pipe Organ at the Mormon Convention Center.

Salt Lake City, Utah

Salt Lake City (SLC) was not part of our original plan but Harrison's Eurosports in Sandy, Utah became instrumental in servicing our motorcycles. Fortunately for us it turned out to be a great place to ride and visit. The area offers so much including the Mormon Temple, the Olympic Village, and the Great Salt Lake.

Our hike overlooking Salt Lake City.

Points of Interest:

1. Visit The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Convention Center and get chills listening to the pipe organ.

2. Take a tour of the Salt Lake Temple and historic Temple Square.

3. Hogle Zoo is great for kids and adults. We enjoyed this zoo. It is clean, simple, and the animals well loved.

4. We were inspired by our oldest son to try a round of Disc Golf at "The Fort" in Ogden. Home of the 2021 PDGA Finals, this course was challenging yet in a remarkable setting.

5. Bike directly from the RV park in any direction. Try taking the bike path to the International Peace Gardens for a great photo op!

Scenic Motorcycle Routes:

1. Ride out to Antelope State Park. Be sure to follow the road in both directions in order to view the local bison. After leaving Montana we had not seen a bison for a while and found ourselves missing them.

2. The Alpine Loop Scenic Byway.

3. Emigration Canyon.

4. Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood Canyon were both great destinations through the Wasatch Mountains. The ski areas are beautiful and inviting!
