Bend, Oregon:

As we made our plans to leave Oregon we were blessed with the opportunity to see both of our sons in one location for a couple of days of hiking and sharing some special moments together. We even threw in time for a round of disc golf!

Bend is a high desert paradise so be sure to bring your camera to capture the beauty of all the lakes, streams, and mountains this area has to offer.

Points of Interest:

1. Hike Black Butte: Central Oregon's iconic cinder cone mountain.

2. Black Butte Ranch Disc Golf Course near Sisters features nine holes, all with magnificent views of Black Butte and the Three Sisters.

3. Hike Tumalo Falls, a 97-foot waterfall on Tumalo Creek, located in the Cascade Range west of Bend.

4. Bike downtown Bend. There are so many shops and restaurants to visit. Our favorite downtown food was the Miyagi Ramen. A unique treat!

Top of Black Butte - A 5 mile hike with the family!

Scenic Motorcycle Routes:

1. For a ride filled with evergreen trees, mountains, and lakes follow the the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway: Oregon Route 372 cuts through 66 miles of unique volcanic formations and geological beauty.

2. A short scenic ride to Fort Rock from is Bend is worth seeing. Fort Rock is a tuff ring landmark the is located on an ice age lake bed that provides a diverse look at the High Desert landscape.

Riding the Cascade Loop in the Bend area is a real treat!
