This past month in Southern Oregon has been busy and we are so grateful for our time here. To those we were able to link up with: Thank you! It has been so great to share our story and be able to connect with old friends. To those we missed seeing... know that we will try and catch you on our next trip through. π
This will be our second time loading this RV. Our Grand Shamrock 2 has a smaller garage but we have seriously decreased our footprint of items and loading day stuff! This should be good.
We are down to:
6 chairs
1 table
1 end table
1 outdoor ladder
1 toolbox
1 tabletop computer desk :)
Jackets, Helmets, Motorcycle boots
And yes...
2 EBikes AND
2 Motorcycles
It is a lot. If we can be loaded in 2 hours or less our lives just got easier as we move across the country. We shall see. In the meantime... heading to Eugene to see the Connor and family before we leave Oregon and head South. This should be quite an adventure!
Scenic Motorcycle Rides:
There are so many roads in Southern Oregon that you can ride that bring you to a special view. Top two rides are The Oregon Coast and Crater Lake.
During our time in Southern Oregon we had time to ride to Elderberry Flats with friends. A great ride until we hit a bit of snow. A day ride to the Oregon Coast, and finally, a short jaunt to Buncom. All in all a great couple of weeks for riding.
Elderberry Flats Ride with Michael and Vera: We had to head home when we hit snow!
Addendum:
In 2020 we had plans to travel to Boston to see our son Duncan. As most people know, plans got cancelled due to Covid. Since then we continued living our life in Oregon and Duncan in Cambridge. As a parent we wanted to be supportive of our sons and thought it important that we see both sons before we left Southern Oregon for a second time.
Despite the winter cold and 12 inches of snow, we were able to walk all over Boston, tour the MIT Campus, trek up The Whites in New Hampshire, and most important: spend time with our son Duncan!
